Tori's appearance on The Late Show With Craig Kilborn has been cancelled
Posted Tue, Dec 02, 2003 - 1:53am ET | TVRadio
I have word from several Toriphiles who received emails from people officially associated with The Late Show With Craig Kilborn that Tori will not be on the show on December 3, 2003 as originally scheduled. It looks like all taping for the week has been cancelled, and that is the reason why. The show will be in reruns all week. While it is possible that she could reschedule, I would think it would be unlikely.

New artist Vienna Teng mentions Tori
Posted Mon, Dec 01, 2003 - 5:01am ET | Sightings
There is a wonderful new artist named Vienna Teng who mentions Tori on her web site at viennateng.com. In the Et Cetera section of the site under the co-heading Song Scraps, there is page where you can locate lyrics to some of her songs that have not been completed or recorded yet. One of the songs is called Undone, and Vienna mentions that the song is incomplete, but that "There's music for it now, though, something akin to Tori Amos' 'Liquid Diamonds.'"
I just want to say that I am really impressed with Vienna. I saw her in concert in Lexington, KY on October 11, 2003 and again in Louisville, Ky on November 19, 2003. You can read my review of her Lexington show in my LiveJournal. Her first album is called Waking Hour and can be purchased at Amazon.com. I rarely mention other artists on the Dent anymore, but Vienna is truly remarkable and I recommend you check her out.

Sign now to support passage of the bipartisan Debbie Smith Act/DNA Sexual Assault Justice Act of 2003
Posted Mon, Dec 01, 2003 - 1:40am ET | RAINN
Lindsay Williams told me about this, and while it is not directly related to RAINN, I felt it was important enough to place on The Dent. On Liftime's website, one can sign a petition for Congress to pass a law to fund training and creation of a rape kit database --there is a massive backlog of rape kits that have not been analyzed, preventing success of some rape cases. There is more info at the website about Debbie Smith, the woman who the act is named after, and what the law is for. Please check out the site and sign if you can.
