heretic tells me about a shirt being sold by American Eagle Outfitters with "Dew Drop Inn" written on it! Tori is currently recording her new album!
This was reported earlier, but a July 10, 2004 update at Mattchamberlain.com confirms that Tori is currently in the studio in Cornwall recording her new album! Summary of what we know about Tori's 2005 tour plans
This news item does not contain any new information, but The Dent is still getting a lot of emails from fans wanting to know when Tori will go on tour next, so I thought I would repeat what we know about Tori's tour plans for 2005. So far, everything we know about her 2005 tour plans comes from an MSNBC.com interview that Tori did on June 11, 2004. She stated in that interview that she would be touring in 2005, and planned to do the tour in 2 parts. The first part would be in late Winter or early Spring 2005 and would be Tori performing by herself solo, and the second part of the tour would be during summer 2005 with the band if the guys are available. At this time we have no idea where Tori will be touring in 2005. That is all we know, and since there is a long time between then and now, these plans could always change. The Dent will of course let you know additional info as it becomes available in the future. The Tori Amos Setlist Database has moved to toriset.org
Sped Erstad has informed me that the URL for his web site, The Tori Amos Setlist Database, has moved to www.toriset.org. Be sure to change you links to the new URL, or check it out for the first time if you have never seen it! Latest sales figures for Tori's albums at Billboard.com
The Ask Billboard column at Billboard.com for June 16, 2004 includes the latest SoundScan sales information for all of Tori's albums, as well as the peak Billboard 200 Album chart positions for each release. They also include the sales figures for Welcome To Sunny Florida. They say that it has sold 22,000 copies in the U.S. so far and that it debuted at #2 on Billboard's Top Music Video chart. Thanks to Rudy and G Madsen for alerting me to this. Keep in mine that these figures are sales figures from Soundscan. Some people get these confused with the RIAA certifications, but certifications from the RIAA are based on units of an album shipped and not raw sales. [Click for details...]
