Information posted at bookpeople.com confirms that Tori will be signing copies of her book Piece By Piece at Noon on Friday, September 2, 2005 at BookPeople in Austin, Texas. Thanks to Nadyne for first letting me know about this and to the many others who emailed me about this being confirmed. Nadyne also adds that BookPeople is giving away eight pairs of front-row tickets for the Austin, TX show that night! Buy a copy of "Piece by Piece" from them before noon on Friday, September 2, 2005, and you'll be entered into the drawing for the tickets.

As we excitedly posted earlier this month, Tori will be officially releasing six discs as part of a live bootleg series! The first two albums are scheduled for an August 30, 2005 release, with four more due later in fall 2005. All six discs will be available exclusively at www.toribootlegs.com. Each set was recorded live during Tori's 2005 "Original Sinsuality Tour". The first album features songs captured during Tori's April 15, 2005 concert at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago, IL. The second album was recorded April 25, 2005 at Royce Hall Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA.

Tori is premiering a track from the first two bootlegs on her MySpace page at myspace.com/toriamos. Have a listen now to Father Lucifer from the Auditorium Theatre Chicago, IL bootleg and Take To The Sky from Tori's Royce Hall Auditorium Los Angeles, CA boot.
Once again, these official bootlegs will be available on Tuesday, August 30. 2005! You can pre-order both of these initial released NOW at toriamosbootlegs.com for $25.

Details about Tori's August 24, 2005 recording for XM Radio

As I reported earlier, Tori did a taping for XM radio on Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at the XM Studios in Washington, DC. This recording session was part of XM's Artist Confidential Series, which are intimate talk and music programs with various recording artists. We do not know when this special will be Broadcast on XM Radio yet, but we do have details about the taping from some Toriphiles who were there.

The broadcast of Tori's concert on Bavarian radio station BR2 has been moved to October 3, 2005

I earlier reported that some or all of Tori's June 24, 2005 concert in Munich, Germany would be broadcast by bavarian radio station BR2 on Monday, August 15, 2005. However, Tori was not broadcast on that date. Instead they broadcast a concert by Ibrahim Ferrer, who died recently. The Tori concert has been rescheduled for Monday, October 3, 2005 at 16.05. Some reports say the concert will actually be from the June 28, 2005 Frankfurt, Germany gig instead of Munich, but I am not sure. Thanks to Michael Braun, Janine and JH for the details.

Tori will do a taping on August 24, 2005 at the XM Studios in Washington, DC

Several sources have told me about this, including Jennifer and Woj, who informed me about emails some fans are getting about this in the DC area. On Wednesday, August 24, 2005, Tori will do a taping at the XM Studios in Washington, DC. This will be done earlier in the day before Tori performs that evening in Baltimore during her tour. Tori will "participate in this recording session as part of XM's Artist Confidential Series, which are intimate programs of talk and music with legendary recording artists". Only 30 people will be chosen to be in the audience for this event,and they will be based on emails that have been sent out by Epic and responded to by fans. We do not know when XM will broadcast this Tori special, but eventually we should find out at xmradio.com.
