Tori and her management auctioning off two pair of front row seats for each of Tori's remaining shows!
Tori and her management plan to auction off two pair of front row seats for each of Tori's remaining shows on her Summer Of Sin tour. As with the Salt Lake City tickets, 100% of the proceeds go to the National Disaster Relief Fund of the American Red Cross. You can use this eBay.com link to view the auctions. They only have some of the shows up now, but the rest will be posted soon. Please bid if you can and good luck! Brandi Carlile will open for Tori at the Phoenix, AZ show

Yahoo Music Unlimited is now offering for $.99 Tori's live version of the Jim Croce cover Operator (That's Not the Way It Feels) which was specially recorded for Yahoo in 2005. Tori and her management (The Bridge) are auctioning off two pairs of front row tickets to the September 6, 2005 concert in Salt Lake City, UT. There are two separate auctions on eBay, and each one is for a pair of front row tickets. 100% of the proceeds are going to the National Disaster Relief Fund of the American Red Cross. The following information has been sent out by The Tori Store, Tori's official online store:In an attempt to help those struggling in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, a portion of all purchases made at The Tori Store will be donated to The Red Cross. We are shocked and upset by the devastation that has occurred and our thoughts are with those of you affected by this tragedy. Also please know that a portion of the proceeds from the merchandise sales at the Austin, TX and Houston,TX shows will be donated to the National Disaster Relief Fund of the American Red Cross as well. Artist Paulina Stuckey is donating art for the Art For Katrina project
Respected Artist Paulina Stuckey, whose work has appeared in Tori's B-side book and other Tori-related publications, has donated artwork to the Art For Katrina project. Raven has sent me the following message:Since 2000 we've been having Meet and Eats--get together chow times for all, after the meet and greet but before the show. As like last tour, we've got Meet and Eats planned for the September 2, 2005 Austin, TX and September 3, 2005 Houston, TX shows at two great restaurants less than 1/2 a mile from the venues! Reminder: Fans attending the Cleveland, OH show on August 30, 2005 are asked to dress as a character from Star Wars!
This comes to The Dent by way of Tori's management. (Tori also told the audience about this at the Rochester Hills. MI show!) The day of the Cleveland, OH show, which is August 30, 2005, is Tash's birthday party, which will have a Star Wars theme. Everyone in the crew (including Tori) will be dressed as a character from Star Wars. Therefore, Tori would like to invite everyone in the audience to also dress as a character from Star Wars. (This is completely optional of course.) This should be great fun, so please participate if you can! (And yes, I know that Tash's birthday is on September 5, 2005, but I have been told that the party will still be on August 30, 2005 in Cleveland.) Tori will be on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on September 12, 2005!

I am off to see the Rochester Hills, MI show at the Meadow Brook Music Festival!
I, my girlfriend Amanda, and our friend Carolyn are leaving this morning for the 400 mile trip north to see Tori at Rochester Hills, MI, which is near Detroit. This will be my only Summer Of Sin show and only my second Tori concert this year. I am excited about the show, especially since the quality of the performances this summer have been outstanding. If you see us at the venue, please feel free to say hello. We always like meeting people while on the road. Since I will be at the show, I may be late getting the Dent updated with the set list and reviews from the Rochester Hills show.
