The "Big Picture" video from Y Kant Tori Read reportedly will be shown on the U.S. cable channel 'VH-1 Classic' sometime around 5:45AM ET Saturday morning, February 22!

Thanks to Marco Nieves and Black Winged Roses for making me aware of this. This is the VH1 Classic channel, NOT the regular VH1 channel. There is an entire block of programming that begins at 5:00AM ET and the YKTR video should be on around 5:45AM, give or take 15 minutes. Set those VCRs!

Toriphile upsidedowngrl (angela) recently and very tragically lost her boyfriend of many years. He died at 6:14 last Sunday morning. She loved him very much and I would like to request that all of you keep her in your thoughts and prayers and she goes through this very rough time. She is well loved & respected†in the Tori Amos community and we are all very sorry for her loss.

Watch Tori's anti-war comments on the MTV Germany web site

There is a section on the MTV Germany web site called War Is Not The Answer that has anti-war comments from various celebrities that you can watch on video, including a really fascinating one from Tori. Click here to access that MTV Germany page and click on the photo of Tori. In this time where war seems very imminent, I find her comments insightful. Thanks to john 'soco' robinson for telling me about this. These videos are being aired on MTV in Europe as well.

Boise, ID presale is underway

However, many people are emailing me telling me they did not get the password from toriamos.com yet. I also have not received it. The entry screen for the presale asks for both an ID and a password. I do know the ID is tori. As for the password, keep trying words that make up song titles from Scarlet's Walk. The password often comes from that. Good luck!

I found this article online at metrosource.com. It is from the February/March 2003 issue of MetroSouce Magazine. Tori talks about being a mother and says her current Scarlet's Walk tour will be her last big tour "for a while" because of Tash. With her starting school, Tori says she will have to limit touring to the "summer seasons". I want to thank Mathew Fatizzi for making me aware of this article. [Click for details...]

Toriphile Jason Suker (who was known as anakha on the Rec.Music.Tori-Amos newsgroup) lost his mother in a car accident on Valentines day. Her name was Jacqui Suker She was killed instantly in a car accident near her home in Brigham City, UT. Please keep her, Jason, and the family in your thoughts and prayers. I remember vividly how much the love and caring of others got me through the lost of a dear friend in my life. I think Jason could use that support now.
