Jeffrey Gaines will open for Tori one more time on her current tour; March 8 in New York City

Rhett Miller is the opening act for most of the remaining dates on Tori's Scarlet's Walk tour in the U.S. He is opening on March 6 & 7 in New York. However on March 8, Jeffrey Gaines will be the opener for Tori. Then the rest of the shows will likely all feature Rhett Miller. Thanks to rasingrrl for this info!

New details about the concerts in Albuquerque, NM and Anaheim, CA

Both of these shows appear to be going on sale this week! First of all, Ticketmaster.com has a listing for the April 21st Albuquerque, NM show where they post that presales begin Thu, March 6 at 10:00am and that general sales start Sat, March 8 at 10:00am.
arrowheadpond.com has a listing for Tori's April 19th concert in Anaheim, CA stating that general sales begin on Sun, March 9 at 10:00am. (They say Saturday, but I think they mean Sunday!) arrowheadpond.com does have a seating chart and ticket prices for Tori's show. The Anaheim, CA show will be at The Theatre at the Arrowhead Pond. This show has also been posted at Pollstar.com.

Details on a Tori special on the German TV show Fast Forward on channel Viva

On March 3, 2003 at 10:00PM, there was a one hour special about Tori on the German show Fast Forward on channel Viva. They showed an interview, a few live performances (Sweet Sangria and Taxi Ride from a soundcheck in Oberhausen, Germany in early 2003) and a few videos. They will broadcast this show again on Thursday, March 6, 2003 at 10:00pm (CET). [Click for details...]

Ticketmaster.com has removed their listing for Houston, TX...

Ticketmaster.com had a listing for a Houston, TX show on Sunday, April 27, 2003 at the Verizon Wireless Theater posted for several days. They even told us that general sales for the Houston show would begin Sat, March 15 at 12:00pm noon. However, hey removed the Houston listing a few days ago. I still think it is very likely that this is a true listing and that Tori will be in Houston. We will have to wait and see though. Dates disappearing from Ticketmaster is not all that unusual, and they almost always return later...

Latest Music Chart Positions in the U.S.; Taxi Ride starting to make an impact at radio!

I am still tracking Tori's Scarlet's Walk album and the previous single a sorta fairytale on the Billboard and Radio & Records charts. The album is currently hanging in there at #125 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart and you can check out the Single section of my Scarlet's Walk Chart Page to see how a sorta fairytale is doing. (Thanks to Robert for helping me with this!)
Taxi Ride continues to make its way to the charts. "Taxi Ride" enters the Radio & Records AAA Chart at #4 on the "New Active" panel. Look for a debut on the actual AAA chart soon! Also, Epic is going for adds at HOT AC radio next week, so we will see how well taxi Ride is received there. You can see this at the bottom of the current Radio & records Hot AC chart. Tori performed Pandora's Aquarium, Glory Of The 80's, Rattlesnakes, and did an amazing 5 songs solo at the piano. Four were during the Roadside Cafe and they were Mr. Zebra, Doughtnut Song, Silent All These Years and Enjoy The Silence. Then Tori did Etienne solo at the end of the first encore! ToriAmos.com is hosting a contest in conjunction with the Oxygen cable channel where the grand prize winner will get a "rare autographed promotional piece from Scarlet's Walk", an autographed copy of the Scarlet's Walk album, "the man's broken watch which was used in the 'a sorta fairytale' video", and "a Tori Amos bag from Pop! Bags." 10 first prize winners with get a copy of Scarlet's Walk. Click here to read about the contest and enter. This has been done to promote the Oxygen custom concert that Tori will perform on March 16, 2003.
ToriAmos.com also says that Scarlet's Web has been updated with stuff from the recent concerts in Boca Raton, Jacksonville, Birmingham, and Nashville.

Fanscape added the April 4th Vail, CO date to their Tori Tour Page and tickets for this show will go on presale Thu, Apr 27 at 10:00am through Ticketmaster.com. (Thanks Matt.) The general sale is on Sat, Mar 1 at 10:00am. Some people saw an update to the Fanscape page earlier today that included erroneous dates for Bozeman, MT and Eugene, OR. I know that the Bozeman, MT date is not taking place. I wonder if there will be a Eugene, OR date added later... I have added the Vail, CO date to the Dent's Tour Schedule Page.

There is a Bozeman, Montana concert date listed on Tori's latest batch of concert t-shirts. However, I am sorry to state that Tori will NOT be playing Bozeman, Montana during the Scarlet's Walk tour. There were obviously plans to go there, but somehow it must have not worked out.
