New tour dates for San Jose, CA and Sacramento, CA listed at CC.com

Woj, Michael BoyfromPele and SuperRXNGuRl were the first to tell me that the Clear Channel Entertainment web site (CC.com) has listed two new tour dates for Tori! They are April 12, 2003 at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts in San Jose, CA and April 13, 2002 at the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento, CA. Both shows are listed as going on sale to the general public on Sat, February 22, 2003 at 10:00am. Presale information was not given. I have added these dates to the Dent's Tour Schedule Page. More possible new Tori concert dates from Rhett Miller's web site!

As many of you know, Rhett Miller will open for Tori during most of the second leg of her U.S. tour. brandon emailed me to tell me there are some tour dates on his official web site at rhettmiller.com that are very likely dates for Tori as well! This has not been confirmed, but if true it means Tori will also be coming to Vail, CO on April 4th and Santa Barbara, CA on April 18th! We will wait and see if these dates are Tori dates as well, but I bet they are! I have added these dates to the Dent's Tour Schedule Page as unconfirmed. [Update: The Vail, CO date is now confirmed at vailrec.com!]

Tori will perform in concert at the Morrison Center in Boise, Idaho on Sunday, April 6!

Robert Huey saw this new Boise, ID concert date listed for Tori in today's Idaho Statesman Sunday newspaper. They claim that tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 21 at 10:00am. My guess is a presale should happen around Wednesday for that show. I have added this date to the Dent's Tour Schedule Page.

According to Sony Music Online USA, Tori will be on Live With Regis and Kelly on Thursday, March 6, 2003 and on CBS Saturday Morning on Saturday, March 8, 2003. Thanks to Carly Guy for the info!

The Tulsa pre-sale got off to a terrible start, but is now working

Any Toriphile who attempted to get tickets for the Tulsa, OK presale at Startickets.com this morning was met by web pages that either did not load, or that gave them error messages like "Session does not exist". This went on for over 3 hours before people started reporting being able to buy tickets. One has to wonder why these things happen...

Brandon reports that CC.com has Rhett Miller listed as the opening act for the Portland, ME and Green Bay, WI shows. This has also been confirmed by uliel, who has a friend who works at Borders where Rhett recently performed and who found out that he plans to open for Tori. (There is evidence she may return to Europe later in the year to do a few festivals, but nothing definite yet.) Tori did the Eagles cover Desperado solo for the second time during the European tour. Tori also did Bliss, Putting The Damage On, and did a rare third encore where she played Twinkle! Update: The song Tori did before Cornflake Girl was not an improv at all, but was the song I Love Paris by Cole Porter! I have added this to the set list since it appears Tori performed all the lyrics.
Tori surprised the Paris audience by performing a cover of Nights In White Satin by the Moody Blues! (She did this solo.) She also did Spark and Honey. The opening date of the second leg of Tori's North American tour in Boca Raton, FL has been moved one day later to Thursday, February 20!

The show is still at the Mizner Park Amphitheater and all current tickets will be honored. I am not sure why they moved the opening date one day forward, but you can see that they have at Ticketmaster.com. This should not affect any other dates on the schedule. Thanks to Brandon and gabi for this information. ToriAmos.com has also verified this change of date.
