CC.com has also added a listing for the July 29, 2003 Concord, CA show. It confirms that tickets go on sale Sun, June 8, 2003 at 10:00am. Tickets cost $29.50, $35.50 and $45.50. (Thanks to Michele.)
Ticketmaster.com added a listing for the August 27, 2003 Columbia, MD concert

Ticketmaster.com has posted a listing for Tori's Columbia, MD show on August 27, 2003 at the Merriweather Post Pavilion. The listing confirms that tickets will go on sale Friday, June 6, 2003 at 12:00pm. I have added this to the Dent's Lottapianos Tour Schedule. We already know that a few days earlier, CC.com added a listing for the Columbia, MD show with the same info, along with the fact that tickets are $43 and $53.

There has been some concern lately that more dates might be added to the end of the Lottapianos concert tour, based on the wording of some recent online articles and the latest email to the Toriamos.com mailing list. I have heard from an official source that the September 4, 2003 date in West Palm Beach, FL is without a doubt the last date of the tour; no more will be added after September 4th.

(Toriamos.com said that Cleveland, OH would go on sale May 31, but we now know the true onsale date for that one is June 7th.) The article does not mention anything new except for a line that says that more concert dates are expected to be added to the Lottapianos Tour. However, we know for sure that no more dates will be added to the Lottapianos tour after the September 4, 2003 date in West Palm Beach, FL, so do not take that line too seriously. WAVY TV Channel 10 (NBC) in Norfolk/Portsmouth, VA was giving away Tori concert tickets every day during the week of May 26-30, 2003 during their morning newscast, which airs from 5-7am. They presented a Tori trivia question and whoever called in with the correct answer won a pair of tickets to the upcoming Virginia Beach, VA show. I am happy to announce that Alexis Hill (PeleGirl5284) won a pair of tickets on Friday morning, May 30, 2003 after reading about this on The Dent yesterday. Congratulations!

Mike Pastore found out that Mayor of the Sunset Strip, a documentary about Los Angeles DJ Rodney Bingenheimer that features interviews from Tori Amos and host of other celebrities, will debut June 17, 2003 at the Los Angeles Film Festival. The listing says that tickets for Minneapolis will go on sale Saturday, June 14, 2003 at 10:00AM. I have added this on sale date to my Lottapianos Summer 2003 Tour Schedule.

There will be no presales for many concerts on Tori's tour this summer

People continue to email me asking me when the presales will be for their city on the Lottapianos Summer 2003 tour. There are already several shows on sale, and none of them had presales. Therefore it is safe to assume that there will be no presales for most of the shows on this tour. There will only be general public sales where tickets go onsale online as well as at various ticket outlets (often Ticketmaster). (We now know there will be presales for at least the Chicago, IL show.) There is no sure-fire way to get great seats by the way. It truly is a matter of luck! Johnny Endicott tells me that Tori's August 1, 2003 show at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA is now listed at greektheatrela.com. The Greek Theatre web site says tickets for that show will go on sale Sunday, June 1, 2003 at 10:00am at Ticketmaster.com (There is no listing at Ticketmaster yet) and the Greek Theatre Box Office. I have added this information to the Dent's Tour Schedule for the Lottapianos Summer 2003 Tour.

This new date on the Lottapianos Summer 2003 tour has just been added to Toriamos.com! Tori will be in N. Charleston, South Carolina at the N. Charleston Coliseum on Sunday, August 31, 2003. No word yet when tickets go on sale. I have added this date to my Lottapianos Tour Schedule. Many thanks to Amanda Morris for calling me at work and letting me know about this!

Tori's West Palm Beach, FL concert at the Sound Advice Amphitheatre is now listed at Toriamos.com, and they give the date of the show as September 4, 2003! (Toriamos.com lists Miami, FL, but the show is actually in West Palm Beach, FL.) This agrees with my report last week from Stephen who saw this upcoming concert listed in the May 23, 2003 Miami Herald newspaper. We do not know when tickets go on sale yet. I have added this definite date to the Dent's Lottapianos Summer 2003 Tour Schedule.
What we currently know about the "Scarlet Sessions" DVD, which still has not been released

At this time there is no indication the Scarlet Sessions DVD will be released. We have seen parts of the DVD performance on various TV shows, like the Trio on Tour and Music Choice specials, as well as a VH1 special in late 2002. However, there is no sign of the DVD disc itself. There is still a listing for this DVD at the Dutch web site vanLeest Music and Movies. That listing says the DVD was released on April 30, 2003, but we know that did not happen. The listing does have what appears to be a photo of the DVD packaging and the DVD's track listing. Toriamos.com says that tickets for the Cleveland, OH show will go on sale Saturday, May 31, 2003. However, if you check out the Tower City Amphitheatre web site, they state that the tickets go on sale Saturday, June 7, 2003 at Ticketmaster.com. (We now know that Sat, June 7, 2003 is the true on sale date for Cleveland!) Thanks to Adam for making me aware of this discrepancy. There is now a listing at Ticketmaster.com for the September 3, 2003 concert in Orlando, FL. They state that tickets for that show will go on sale Saturday, May 31, 2003 at 10:00am. This resolves the issue I posted about yesterday concerning the conflicting onsale dates for Orlando and Tucson, AZ on Toriamos.com. The Orlando, FL show is going on sale Sat, May 31, 2003 and the Tucson, AZ show is going on sale Fri, June 20, 2003. Thanks to Kristy, Timothee, Laurel, Wendi Brown and Amy for alerting me to this. Tori did not create original music for the film 'A Piano Tale', but did contribute music to the project

I earlier reported that there is an entry on the Internet Movie Database that claims that Tori composed original music for a 2002 film called 'A Piano Tale'. This is not exactly the case. I received an email from Benjamin Holmsteen, who is the Director of the film 'A Piano Tale'. He tells me that the beginning stanza of Silent All These Years is used for that film. The song is being played by a classical pianist, and Tori did not compose original music for the film. [Click for details...]

The deadline has passed for Tori's Taxivision contest where you made a video for her song "Taxi Ride". You will be able to vote for your favorite Video on the Taxivision web page from May 23, 2003 to May 30, 2003. (This has been delayed for a while due to the large number of entries. We are waiting now to find out when the voting will begin.) Remember, that fan vote is mainly for fun and it is Tori who ultimately decides the true winners. It looks like Ben Folds will not be Tori's special guest for the Columbus, OH show

While Ben Folds is supporting Tori for almost the entire summer tour, it does look he will be not be part of the August 20, 2003 show in Columbus, OH. BenFolds.com states that Ben Folds is co-headlining a show with Aimee Mann at New York City's Central Park Summerstage on August 20th. This will mean that Tori will have to find a replacement for him or not have any special guests in Columbus... Thanks to Brett Jones and Kelly Stitzel for pointing that out to me. There are a few more dates that we know about with Tori that are not listed at Benfolds.com, but I do not know if this means Ben will not be in those cities, or if it is an oversight.
