I am off to Chicago to see Tori in concert!
I am leaving this morning with my girlfriend Amanda and our two friends Carolyn and Cynthia to drive 5 hours north to Chicago to see Tori's Friday, April 15, 2005 show at the Auditorium Theatre. I am very excited about finally getting to see a show myself! From what I have read and heard about the tour so far, Tori is in really good form and performing some excellent and memorable shows. I am excited to see what she has in store for us in Chicago. If you are in Chicago and happen to see us, please feel free to say hello!Since I will be out of town and attending the show, the updating of The Dent will be sporadic at best. I plan to post an update at some point later in the evening from our hotel room, but that could take several hours after the show ends. I would encourage anyone who attends the Chicago show or who knows someone there to post the set list and reviews in the Dent's Original Sinsuality Tour Forum in the Chicago thread after the show ends on Friday. Thanks and I will see you soon! New Dent Web Poll: What is your favorite song from The Beekeeper?

Helene, Alison, and Jen told me that Tori was featured recently on the TV show Arts & Minds on the Bravo! TV channel in Canada. This is not the same channel as Bravo in the United States. This took place on Saturday, April 9, 2005 at 6:00PM ET and again on Sunday, April 10, 2005 at 7"00PM ET. (I meant to get this up before the show actually was broadcast, but I got way behind on my email, which happens when you get hundreds of emails a day!) You can still watch a video clip from this show online at bravo.ca. It had a new interview with Tori, people talking about why she is great, old performance clips, and several clips from her music videos including Sleeps with Butterflies. I am sure Bravo! Tour news: Second show added for Melbourne, Australia; Tori confirmed for the Galstonbury festival!
A second Melbourne, Australia show has now been scheduled for Wednesday May 18, 2005 again at Hammer Hall. Tickets are preselling right now through visapreferredseating.com.au.In other news, Tori has been confirmed to play at The Glastonbury Festival in the U.K. according to glastonburyfestivals.co.uk. She will be on the acoustic stage. They do not say what day of the festival she will perform, but I think it will be on Sunday, June 26, 2005. Most say that this tickets for this festival are Sold Out. I have added these new developments to the Dent's Original Sinsuality Page. A word about rushing the stage at Tori shows
As has been the case over the last few tours, people are sitting during most of Tori's live show, and then they are standing during the two encores and some are "rushing the stage" for the encores. While Tori's people do not stop people from coming forward, people are starting to "rush the stage" way too soon during the show. Tori's crew and management would like to request that if you are going to do this, you must wait until the performance of The Beekeeper is completely finished and Tori has stood up. Only then is it okay to stand and move forward. Those doing so should proceed carefully and in a civilized manner, and should not crush or run over people to get up front. It is important for people to follow these rules at the shows. Thank you. Original Sinsuality Tour: The set list and reviews for Tori's April 10, 2005 concert in Hartford, CT
