A different set of presales for the August 31, 2005 Chicago show begin Friday morning, July 8th!

Most of you know that the Musictoday presale for the Chicago, IL show on August 31, 2005 began on Thursday morning, July 7, 2005 at 10:00AM. If you check out the Ticketmaster.com listing for Chicago, you will see that a different presale begins on Friday, July 8, 2005 at 10:00AM and ends that same day at 10:00PM. Word has it that that this presale is actually two presales, one sponsored by radio station WXRT and the other by JamUSA.com. I am not sure how that works, but if you try to get tickets tomorrow for the Chicago show after 10:00AM, you will have to enter a password. I am not going to put the presale password on the Dent, because everytime I do that I get a hundred angry emails telling me I did the wrong thing. Thanks to Tim, Kristy and Woj for the info.

I just received the latest email from Toriamos.com, and they provided links to various video feeds for the new Sweet The Sting video! They have links for Quicktime, Real Player and Windows Media Player. Please keep the people in London, U.K. in your thoughts today as they cope with the terrible terrorist bombings from this morning. As you know, the city of London has essentially been shut down, and I am sure anyone there would appreciate our kind wishes and support during this difficult time.

A request about taking photos during Tori's concerts

During the last few Italian dates on Tori's tour, there has been a problem with people running up to take photos during the show. This has been at times disruptive. It is requested that people refrain from taking flash photos during the show and that they do not run up front to take photos of any kind, out of respect for Tori. As you know, it is the policy of most venues that photography of any type is not allowed. Thanks for your cooperation.

The next North Texas ToriFest is Saturday-Sunday, July 23-24, 2005 in Denton, TX (just North of Dallas/Fort Worth, TX). We have people drive from all over Texas for the fests. We have a lot of fun--listening to music, boots, watching videos, playing tori board games, singing, eating, and just chillin'. While some groups have been known to do odd things like drink Tori's backwash, we're not obsessive. We're just Ears with Feet. To see pictures and get all the info, just go to torifest.com.  Thanks to Jenn and Martin for emailing me about this. A songbook for The Beekeeper will be released soon. One source says it will be available in the middle of July 2005, but that is not a definite release date. You can see the cover to the songbook to the right. The 140 page book is published by Amsco Publications (AM982454). You can see an entry for it at sheetmusicplus.com and at the U.K. site musicroom.com.

New Ticketmaster.com listing for the Chicago show: Presales announced for Chicago and Baltimore!

There is a new Ticketmaster.com listing for the August 31, 2005 show in Chicago, IL. The listing verifies that the show will be at Millenium Park, and tickets go onsale to the general public on Sat, July 9, 2005 at 11:00AM. However, that same Ticketmaster listing says there will be a presale for this show at Music Today beginning on Thu, July 7, 2005 at 10:00AM. The Musictoday/Ticketstoday web site does not have a Chicago listing yet for that presale, but they should soon.
One new listing that you CAN find at MusicToday/TicketsToday.com is for the August 24, 2005 show in Baltimore, MD. That presale is set to begin on Wed, July 6, 2005 at 10:00AM.

A new listing was added today at tbpac.org that verifies that Tori will be playing at Carol Morsani Hall in the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center on August 11, 2005, and that tickets for that show go onsale to the general public Friday, July 8, 2005 at Noon. My guess is that Ticketmaster.com will sell them, but I am not sure yet. I have added this information to The Dent's Summer Of Sin Tour Page.
