I have decided to keep the old Dent logo for the time being...
Posted Fri, May 02, 2003 - 4:50pm ET | Opinion
I have done some soul-searching lately and I have decided to keep the current Dent logo for now and not replace it with a new one. I hope the decision is okay with everyone. The logos submitted for the logo contest were wonderful and the winning logo really beautiful. But there is something in me that says that I need keep to the old logo, at least for now. I have also come to realize how impossible it can be to please everyone with something new, and I strongly believe the old logo would have won had I posted a poll right now pitting the old against the new, as I had planned. I will still be sending the top 5 winners from the logo contest their prizes of course, and I will find a way to use the winning logo in some form on the site, because I do love it. Thanks for your understanding.

Posted Thu, May 01, 2003 - 5:00am ET | Music
As most of your know, Howie Day opened for Tori during the first North American and European legs of Tori's 'On Scarlet's Walk' tour. He was popular with many Toriphiles, and so I wanted to announce that on April 29, 2003, Howie released a new 5-song EP called "The Madrigals". It includes a bonus DVD containing more than 30 minutes of live material. With this new EP and DVD, fans will have a taste of new tracks from Howie and have the chance to recapture his live performances. Find out more about Howie's new release at howieday.com

Tori may play Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, CO on August 7, 2003!
Posted Thu, May 01, 2003 - 12:43am ET | Tour
Keith, Courtney Clark and Bob Maple tell me that Tori will be playing with Ben Folds on August 7, 2003 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, CO. (It is specifically in Morrison, CO, 15 miles west of Denver.) An ad for the concert recently appeared in the Westword Entertainment Guide, and sources that work at Red Rocks reportedly say that Tori is coming. There is no mention of this show yet at redrocksonline.com, but it feels right to me. As soon as I have additional confirmation, I will announce it and add it to the 2003 Summer Tour Schedule

Tori scheduled to perform at the Meadow Brook Music Festival in Rochester Hills (near Detroit), MI on August 15, 2003!
Posted Fri, Apr 25, 2003 - 2:49pm ET | Tour
We have another summer concert date! If you check out palacenet.com you will see that they have Tori Amos with special guest Ben Folds listed for Friday, August 15, 2003 at Meadow Brook Music Festival on the campus of Oakland University in Rochester Hills, MI (near Detroit). Thanks to Mel who first told me about this! The web site says tickets are $39.50 pavilion and $29.50 lawn and will be available through the series package on Sunday, April 27, 2003 at noon. Individual tickets will be sold later. Series tickets can supposedly be purchased at Palacenet.com and The Palace Box Office. Series tickets may also be charged by phone to American Express, Discover, Visa and MasterCard by calling (248) 377-0100. I think most Toriphiles though will want to wait until the individual show goes on sale later... I have added this date to the Dent's Summer 2003 Tour Schedule.
