Sign the "Strange" Single Online Petition!

Jason has begun an online petition that I wanted to bring to your attention and encourage you to sign. Visit the Strange" Single Online Petition web site now and take part if you can. Here is the mission statement of the petition:
To have the radio edit of the song "Strange" by Tori Amos released as a commercial CD single by Epic Records. The single would also contain some or all of the "Scarlet's Web" b-sides, including the songs "Tombigbee," "Seaside" and "Mountain," previously only available through streaming audio on Tori Amos' website... By making these songs only available as streaming audio, the quality of the songs is much lower than that of songs on a CD. We the listeners, would like the privilege to purchase these songs on a CD at their highest quality, and releasing them as b-sides to "Strange" appears to be the most logical action.

I have returned from my trip to see Tori in Cleveland, Rochester NY and Detroit

I arrived back home very early this morning and I am now updating the Dent again more frequently. I had a wonderful time on the road, and want to thank all the people who came up to me and said hello. It was so fun to meet you all. I would also like to thanks Carolyn, who kindly posted the set lists to the Dent while I was on the road. Once again I will be traveling with my girlfriend Amanda and our friend Cynthia. We decided we could still attend the Detroit show even with the postponement! If you see us in Cleveland, Rochester NY or Detroit, please say hello. While I am out of town, updates to the Dent may not happen as frequently as usual, but I will still try to do what I can. Tori's Rochester Hills/Detroit show has been postponed until Monday, August 18, 2003; Cleveland and Rochester are still scheduled

I have received official word from Tori's management that the Rochester Hills/Detroit, MI show that was scheduled for tonight (Friday, August 15, 2003) has been postponed until Monday, August 18, 2003. This is due to the fact that Detroit still has no power as a result of the massive Northeast blackout. The shows in Cleveland, OH on Saturday, and Rochester, NY on Sunday are still scheduled. Just wanted to let you know!
Update: Ticketmaster.com also lists the Rochester Hills/Detroit, MI show as being postponed until Monday, August 18th at 7:00PM.

Tori's Interlochen, MI show for August 19th has been cancelled

Update: If you check Interlochen.org, you will see that Tori's August 19, 2003 show in Interlochen, MI at Kresge Auditorium has sadly been cancelled. Refund checks for this show are supposed to be mailed in 7-10 days. It does not appear that any other shows will be affected. While I do not know a specific reason for the cancellation, I can tell you that the cancellation had nothing to do with Tori herself, who was looking forward to playing there.
