Tori's upcoming Best Of album could have the title "Tales of a Librarian - A Tori Amos Collection"
Posted Tue, Sep 02, 2003 - 1:56pm ET | Music
Two separate people, NeilQuinn and eltonchou, have informed me that Tori's new album, which is a"best of" collection from Atlantic, could be called "Tales of a Librarian - A Tori Amos Collection". One saw this title listed in a WEA (Warner/Elektra/Atlantic) press packet to independent retailers while the other found it listed in a pre-release note from Warner Taiwan. The album is due in the U.K. on November 17, 2003 and in the U.S. on November 18, 2003.

Leaving today to see the last 5 shows of the Lottapianos Tour!
Posted Fri, Aug 29, 2003 - 4:45pm ET | Tour
Amanda, myself, and our friend Carolyn are leaving Louisville, KY today to drive to Raleigh, NC and to see the last five shows of the Lottapianos tour. We will be in Raleigh, North Charleston, Atlanta, Orlando and West Palm Beach. These could be the last full length shows Tori performs for a few years, so we are very much looking forward to them. (We also plan to do a lot of sightseeing while we are on the road over the next week!) As usual, if you see us at the shows, please come up and say hello. (You can see what we look like in the EWF Photo album. Look under Michael Whitehead (Mikewhy) and Amanda Morris #2.)
While gone I will try to update the Dent from the road when I have a chance, but it is always hard to determine in advance how often that will be. You can still email me concert reviews for the Dent, but it may take me longer to get them posted. Please feel free to make use of the Tour Reviews Forum and post your reviews there if you like.
I will be back home on September 7th. (We are spending a day at Epcot after the final Tori show!) At that time, the Dent will return to its normal update schedule. For example, I will post screen shots from Tori's Soundstage appearance, which has been shown on public TV stations over the last few days.

Reminder: Tori's official meet & greet policy for the Lottapianos Summer Tour
Posted Wed, Aug 27, 2003 - 9:40am ET | Tour
I have no idea if there will be any more meet and greets on the Lottapianos Tour at this time. Once I know anything at all, I will post it on The Dent. As a reminder, here is official information on Tori's meet and greets for the Lottapianos Tour from Tori's management:
"Due to amphitheater venue issues, the ONLY scheduled Meet and Greet for the Lottapianos Tour will be for the First Show, Sat 07/26/03 in Redmond, WA at the Marymoor Amphitheatre. Any further Meet and Greets will be announced via The Dent 24-48 hours in advance of the show date, and verbally by Joel at the venue the day prior. Tori and her management request that Toriphiles do not spend their day waiting for a meet and greet outside a venue unless a Meet and Greet has been formally announced by either The Dent or Joel. There will be no access to water or shade at the venues, and due to the summer heat, loitering outside all day will be a health risk. Thank you in advance for your recognition of this request."
Please note that I will only post about meet and greets if I hear there will be one. I am not informed if there will NOT be one. Therefore, I assume there is no meet and greet unless I hear otherwise. So far, only Redmond, WA and Minneapolis, MN have had meet and greets.
