Schapelle Corby found guilty and sentenced to 20 years in prison
Schapelle Corby, the young Australian woman that Tori dedicated a show to during her Australian tour was found guilty of smuggling nine pounds of marijuana into Bali, Indonesia and sentenced there to 20 years in prison. You can read about this at cnn.com. You can also check out her official support site at www.schapellecorby.com.au for more information. What makes the case even more outrageous is that prosecutors are planning to appeal the sentence, saying 20 years is too lenient. Thanks to Carolyn who kindly posted the Australian set lists on The Dent while I was gone. My vacation was one of the best and most enjoyable I have ever had. Everything worked out perfectly, and every day felt like a truly magical adventure! I hated having to leave and come home, but I am glad to be updating this site again. [Click for details...]The Dent is taking a vacation until May 25, 2005
I leave later today (May 12, 2005) for a much needed vacation with my girlfriend Amanda to Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. We have been planning this trip for over a year, and I will not be back until Wednesday, May 25, 2005. I will have no Internet access while on vacation. This marks the first time in the entire 9 year history of The Dent that I have taken such a long vacation without updating this site. I originally scheduled the trip so that it would take place when Tori was not on tour, but then the Australian leg of the Original Sinsuality tour was announced, and now I have to leave with 5 shows remaining. I do apologize for that. The good news is I have made arrangements with our friend Carolyn to post the set lists of the Australian shows as soon as possible as they take place. I also still have The Dent's Original Sinsuality Tour Forum available, and I ask that all reviews of the last 5 Australian shows be added to that forum and not emailed to me. I will make sure they get added to the Dent itself at a later date. In that way, you can all help me keep this site current while I am gone. It is also likely that more dates for Tori's Summer Of Sin tour will be announced in the near future. Keep checking Toriamos.com for any announcements they may make about added shows. Finally, I ask that you not email me unless it is a very important Tori news item. I will be unable to check my email while on vacation. Also, please refrain from sending me any photos or media files. I have set up my account to automatically delete any large emails while I am gone to prevent my account from running out of space. Thanks for your understanding as I leave on this much needed and fun vacation. I will see you again on May 25th! Read a review of The Beekeeper from The Winnipeg Uptown
