Update about the status of The Dent's Ears With Feet Photo Album

It has been a long time since I updated this section of the Dent, and for that I apologize. There have been many reasons for this, including bandwidth concerns, a deluge of Tori news and being busy revising the Dent. Now that the Dent has been successfully converted, my bandwidth under more control, and I am finished going out of town to see Tori concerts, I plan to start updating this section again in the next few days. I must warn you that I have photos from roughly 100 people and it will take me some time to upload all of those. I ask for your patience and would also like to ask that people do not send me any more photos, at least for the next month or so. For now, I have posted a new feature photo on the Dent's Entry Page from Shane which was taken recently in Green Bay, WI.
The film "Mona Lisa Smile" is now scheduled for release on December 19, 2003

Tori has revealed that she was filmed singing two 40's style songs for this movie. Go to The Dent's Mona Lisa Smile Page for all we know about this film and Tori's contribution to it. Thanks to Mark Robinson for letting me know that the release date of Mona Lisa Smile has been pushed back to December 19, 2003.

 Jeff Henjes points out that you can see Tori doing her soundcheck right now (6:25PM ET) on the web cam that is available at Sioux City Orpheum Theater Web Site. I am not sure how much longer you may be able to see Tori, but check it out! I do not know if it will be operational during Tori's concert in Sioux City, Iowa tonight, but if it is that could be interesting. (I am not sure if there is a limit to the number of people who can use the webcam at one time either...) You can see a screen shot that Jeff sent me to the right.
U.S. Chart News: Taxi Ride moves up the R&R Triple A chart and Scarlet's Walk moves up the Billboard 200 Album Chart again

Taxi Ride has moved up to #18 on the Triple A chart in Radio & Records for the week of March 28, 2003. Click here to see the details of how Tori's new single has done on the Triple A chart.. Tori's album Scarlet's Walk has also seen a sales resurgence, with her album moving from #164 to #133 on the Billboard 200 Album chart for the week of April 5, 2003. Tori did an Alice Lounge VIP performance for San Francisco, CA radio station Alice 97.3 (KLLC) on December 20, 2002 at the W Hotel. (Click for more details about that performance.) The Radio Alice web site is now offering a streaming link where you can hear her live performance of a sorta fairytale. Thanks to Heather Mayes for telling me about it.

It looks like the second U.S. leg of Tori's Scarlet's Walk tour ends in New Orleans

Toriamos.com has sent out an email to members of their mailing list, calling the New Orleans presale (look below for details) the "11th and Final Round" of presales. This would seem to indicate that the last date on the current leg of Tori's U.S. tour will be in New Orleans. We know from various interviews with Tori herself that she will be touring until about August 2003. So what are Tori's plans for the summer? We do not have any official word about this yet. Earlier there were rumors that she might do some festivals in Europe. but lineups for those festivals are appearing now and Tori is not included. There are a lot of rumors flying around online that Tori will tour once again in the U.S., perhaps doing a third leg of dates over the summer. Once we have official word about this or whatever it is that Tori is doing, I will post it on the Dent. While it is fun to talk about some of the things that Tori's crew may have told someone on the current tour, planning for a tour is a fluid and ever-changing process, and what may have been true one week could be false the next. Once I know something for sure, I will announce it!

Both Ticketmaster.com and the Fanscape/Tori Tour page say that presales will begin on Thu, March 27, 2003 at 10:00am.. As usual, the presale will require the password sent out to members of the ToriAmos.com mailing list. The general sale for New Orleans will begin on Sat, March 29, 2003 at 10:00am. I have added this info to the Dent's Tour Schedule Page.

The Dent is 7 years old today!

I began this web site on March 25, 1996. Back then Tori was getting ready to begin the U.S. leg of her Dew Drop Inn tour and was promoting her Boys For Pele album. It has been my honor and pleasure to cover the latest news on Tori for the last 7 years. Thanks to all of you who have helped the site over the years with your contributions, emails, and support. It still means so much to me. The Dent is still going strong and so is our Tori!
Lindsey Diana Ryan has been found

I earlier posted something from Toriphile kym henning about the fact that her husband's cousin, Lindsey Diana Ryan, was missing. I am happy to report that Lindsey was found Monday morning, March 24, in Susanville, CA. She is safe, and a person responsible for her dissappearance has been arrested.
Adrien Brody, who stars in Tori's 'a sorta fairytale' video, won the Academy Award for Best Actor

On March 23, 2003 during the 75th annual Academy Awards, Adrien Brody won an Oscar, Best Actor In A Leading Role, for his work in the film "The Pianist". As you know, Adrien appeared in Tori's video for a sorta fairtyale. Toriamos.com has mentioned the fact that the video stars the Academy Award winning Adrien Brody in their latest news item talking about the planned April 8, 2003 release of the DVD Single for a sorta fairytale.
