The Amazon.com listing for the Scarlet's Walk Songbook says they have it in stock now. Click the details link to see what the cover looks like and find out more information. It seems that Toriphiles are much happier with this songbook than others because it is the first Tori Amos songbook to contain authentic transcriptions (note-for-note what's on the album).

More Details

You can order this songbook through Amazon.com.

imageA songbook or sheet music folio for Scarlet's Walk was released on or around March 3, 2003. You can find out more about the songbook at the EQS Music web site, which also has the scan of the cover that you see to the right. This is a softcover book, 120 pages, 9 x 12 inches in size, with an ISBN number of 0.8256.2745.1. The book is published by Amsco Music.

Here are some interesting comments about this songbook from Toriphile Daniel:

I just got off the phone with the guy who runs EQS Music about the Scarlet's Walk songbook, and I asked him about certain parts of it to see what kind of book it was. He said, and from the passages we discussed, it appears that, this is the 1st ever Tori Amos songbook to be authentic transcriptions (note-for-note what's on the album). Every songbook except Boys for Pele had the vocal lines in with the piano part, and even BFP was still not note-for-note. The SW book was supposed to be released in October, but through lots and lots of workings-through by Tori herself, it's finally published in it's current form. Well thanks.

More comments from Dana:
i've got the scarlet's walk songbook, and i definitely agree that the piano parts are way more accurate. there are some very minor and subtle differences, but i think that they're practically unnoticeable unless you play along with the song perfectly. anyway, all in all, the book is great.
