More Details
Thanks to Jessika for first making me aware of this program. The show was actually a joint production of VH1 and SELF Magazine. VH1 basically showed various Tori videos and live performances from the past, along with a recent interview with Tori and her chef Duncan, talking about how Tori has changed her diet as she has gotten older. Tori credits her new diet with stopping her cycle of miscarriages and for maintaining her voice and allowing her to age gracefully. Look below for screen shots from this show and a complete transcript kindly type up by Leena.

She remains one of the most respected and prolific talents in music, but when it came to her health Tori wasn't always as successful. After overcoming personal tragedies she finally got serious about what fuels her.
Tori: I changed my life because of what I took into my body. I was in a cycle of miscarriages and I just said I don't feel good when I'm eating these things, there's a new way to be Tori and what I put inside does make me feel different.
Tori says that the change in her diet lead to a healthy pregnancy and an even healthier voice. So now when she goes on tour she brings along her personal chef, Duncan.
Duncan: It's very important to Tori that she's eating the correct foods because what she eats directly very often affects her voice
Tori: My whole life was surrounded around the piano, and being a vessel for the songs to come. I made a decision to eat more organically.
Duncan invited VH1 backstage at New York City's Radio City Music Hall to check out Tori's preshow meal.
Duncan: Today we are going to do a favorite of hers which is wrapped tilapia. This particular meal is one designed to keep her voice in tip top condition. Of course olive oil, we're gonna use quiet a lot of olive oil which also tends to keep her lubricated . . . and that's ready to go into the oven.
Tori: Heaven
As she approaches 40 she's learned a few things along the way.
Tori: You know you can't beat the clock, if you play that game you will lose. You have to exchange, I guess, the lines on your face hopefully for some wisdom. We're gonna get older but there's grace and you can feel good about it.
