From Matt Page and John:

The big surprise of the night was London Girls during the first encore. It was also odd that Tori did not perform God tonight. She had been in a pattern where she always did Father Lucifer and God together during the show. That pattern was broken tonight. Tori did follow her written set list almost exactly, except she reversed the order of Carbon and Winter.

Tori did a sad improv tonight about how Tash smashed her hand in a door, and they did not have any bandages for her and had to place some ice in a sock.

It was a really good show, although Tori seemed a little sad because of what happened to Tash. Her voice sounded really incredible. She was crying during Winter and was screaming at the top of her lungs during The Waitress. The Waitress really rocked tonight.

From Suzy:

I thought the GB show was incredible. The meet and greet was small so even though we arrived late (around 2:30 p.m.) we were still able to get close enough to get some good photos of Tori and to request a favorite.

It was so wonderful to hear Carbon after chasing that girl around on this tour and not catching her before.

Horses was a wonderful surprise too for me because I haven't heard it live for so long and it really sounded brilliant.

London Girl was playful and lovely and Playboy Mommy has always been an elusive favorite of mine.

I thought Tori seemed to be in great spirits and her voice was really strong so the show blew me away more than most I've seen on this tour. We can't wait to see her again Friday in Madison!

From Dave Kinnetz:

We arrived at the meet & greet just in time. In fact, we were driving around trying to find out where it was gonna be. I saw the barricades, drove over there, and saw Tori outside. I threw the car in park (illegally) and was able to get right up front and have my 7" God picture vinyl signed. Something happened to her black Sharpie (I think it ran out), so someone gave her a purple Sharpie to use instead. Joel made a joke about needing to buy it off the person.

The Weidner Center was a pretty nice theater. Very modern and great sound. This was my first time seeing Rhett Miller perform. He seems to be full of energy. His music really isn't my thing. Then again, I said the same thing about Howie Day, and I kinda like him now.

Anyway, about Tori's performance. Caught A Lite Sneeze was good. Father Lucifer was really good with the band. Lust was very nice live. Carbon isn't one of my favorite songs from Scarlet's Walk. I'm not sure why, but I just can't really get into it. However, hearing Carbon solo was really nice. People said Tori was crying during Winter, but from where I was sitting (second row) I don't think she was. Her eyes looked a little glassy, and maybe her eyes welled a little, but tears were not rolling down her face as some seem to think.

The band returns. Horses was as good as ever with the band. Strange Little Girl was a pleasant surprise. Tori put a lot of energy into this song live. The Waitress was cool. Hotel and Iieee were more nice surprises. They were both loud and very, very good live. The highlight of the evening was London Girls. This is one of my favorite b-sides. During the "she'll darn your socks and wash your *purrs*" part, she grabbed her self "down there". :) It was an awesome performance of this song. Playboy Mommy was a good way to end the show. Kinda sad, but good nonetheless.

Something that I found interesting about this show... there were a couple of deaf guys there. They were first sitting to the far left of the theater, but were moved to the first row far right. An interpreter was there to sign the songs. I found this to be pretty cool since my Grandmother is deaf and I'm thinking about becoming an interpreter. One thing that kinda bugged me though... she (the interpreter) had a copy of the set list and lyrics. After the show, she was approached by a girl who asked for the set list. I thought it was kinda crappy 'cause Chris, the deaf guy, should have been able to keep it if anyone did. I glanced over a few times during the show to see her signing the songs. She did a pretty good job for someone who never listened to Tori's music before.

From Madeleine Dam:

I was at the show March 26, drove three hours to get there. Now this was my third time seeing her, and It was still incredible. My favorite part was when she played "Hotel", not a song I was expecting to hear. The lighting effects that were synchronized with this song were amazing. I wore a Tori shirt that said on the back "I believe in peace....BUSH!!" and to my surprise, she also played "The Waitress". Not like the "still orbiting" version, but nonetheless it was great. She played for two solid hours, with two encores. What a woman. I love her, don't you?
