Tori Amos belongs in that small category of musicians who seem to spend as much time on each video as they do on the songs. Even if you aren't a huge fan of her music, you can appreciate the invention that gone into the 21 videos on Video Collection -- Fade To Red. From the iconic shots of Amos in a box in Silent All These Years to the big bugets of later singles, almost every promo has something to recommend it. And Amos, so often portrayed as a few notes short of a chord, provides a funny insight into the origins of each video on the commentary track. Twin peaks gets a nod in the promo for Spark; Marilyn Manson would be proud of the jerky nightmare of Raspberry Swirl; and the video for A Sorta Fairytale, which sees Amos's head morphed on the end of a leg, and Adrien Brody's face sewn on the end of an arm, has to be seen to be believed. Extras: Commentary, Professional Widow (remix) video, documentary.
