From Matt Page: This was another solid show with several surprises, including a new cover, "After The Gold Rush", which Matt said was beautiful. It was interesting that Crucify and Another Girls Paradise have returned to the shows. Click here to read the lyrics to After The Gold Rush. Read a review of this concert from The Daily Nebraskan. From Adam.Dyer: The show started sometime around 8:30 with Wampum Prayer and A Sorta Fairytale. Tori was incredibly playful: dancing, waving, crossing her legs at the piano.Father Lucifer included the Steve McQueen bridge at the end. When she sang Crucify, she didn't use her keyboards during the verses, only during the chorus. Near the end she kept going and began singing "I will not go back, I've crawled on my hands and knees" (or something very similar) over and over. During the Roadside Cafe, Beulah Land was a nice surprise. She delivered it with a sexy tone that was absolutely mesmerizing. After the Gold Rush was also an amazing surprise. She changed "in the nineteen seventies" to "in the two thousand and three" all times except one. Putting the Damage On was a nice transition to bring the band back in, it was half solo and half with the band. The woman next to me leaned over to her date about this time and said "she just doesn't stop." I think that was a great way to describe the scene. It was like a storm that kept coming from all sides. It was incredible. For Iieee, I was lucky enough to be sitting where I could see the reflection from the top on the Bosendorfer of her playing the keyboard. She was banging out the melody. The song ended rapidly as they walked offstage waving The crowd stood for all of both encores, but still stayed in place. Tori kept one leg on the piano bench and stood while playing Taxi Ride. This was the first time I had heard Horses with the band. I really enjoyed it, but it definitely was not a ballad. Tori was incredibly playful during Space Dog. She kept crossing her legs at the piano bench, leaning back, leaning into the mike, smiling at Matt. The Dakota Version of Hey Jupiter was beautiful. She ended the show on a powerful note, waved, shook a few hands with people in the audience and then left. Clearly I enjoyed the show. It was the best show I have seen so far. I realize I have only been to three so far, but the energy, the atmosphere, the people and of course Tori made for an amazing, amazing show. From SteponmeRotten: This was the fourth Concert of Tori I have seen, the second from just this tour, She put on another amazing show. My all time favorite song is God and have never before seen her play it live, so I was very happy when she played it. I saw the show in Minnesotta in November and I was a little wooried that she might play all the same songs, but she added a lot of new songs to this show. I was very pleased, and can't wait to see her again. Read a review of this concert from the Omaha World-Herald. From stacy smith: This was the fourth time i have seen Tori. The last show i went to was 3 -4 yrs ago in Minneapolis and she is better than ever. She gives out an awesome vibe that soothes and heals the soul! I had a great time. I can't wait to see her again!
