From John and Matt Page:

Tonight's show was very subtle and beautiful. There was a very interesting deviation during Pancake. Tori this time did not do the part of the song that begins with the words "oh zion please remove your glove". She did something completely different. (Can anyone tell me what she sang?)

Tori also did a small political improv before Sister Janet. It included the words "soldiers marching."

From Lori:

This was my first time seeing her on this tour, and I missed three days of school for it!!! The day started out on a bad note, we got to the meet and greet around 10:00 a.m. but we were told it was canceled due to the weather...But that it wasn't "definite," so we waited around....We froze our asses off for nothing of course, but it was still cool to bond with other toriphiles...I just hope one day i will be able to meet that woman!! My sister and father came to the show with me, and we were not impressed by Rhett Miller. He's a good lookin guy but that's all he has going for him...And then, beautiful Tori came out! She was wearing this gorgeous white/satin flowing top..with jeans? underneath and black boots. Her hair looked absolutely gorgeous, but I will comment on her weight..She is getting way too damn skinny, I could see her breast plate from where I was sitting. But she still looks beautiful....I won't comment on every single song, but the highlights were for me:
Siren~this was AMAZING! Better than the last time I heard her perform it...She kept shaking her head and getting into that "Prissy Girl" part, and was repeating it over and over...just simply rockin!

Pancake~one of my favorites off the album!!! she did add some extra verse into it that i've never heard, but i couldn't quote it word for word...i believe it had something to do with soldiers-somewhat like the improv before "sister janet."

Cornflake Girl~YAY!!!! The piano work was awesome! And i think the lighting for this song was just spectacular! The lights would just freeze on Tori when she just sang by herself without matt and jon...amazing, amazing, amazing...and she did the little cat/meow thing, or whatever youc all it, and everyone went crazy!

Hotel~This has never really been one of my favorites off of Choirgirl, but it is GORGEOUS live! It actually brought me to tears, i couldn't believe it...

Crucify~Like people have said before, this song is just an entity on its own...Amazing....i absolutely go nuts when she says the line about "never going back, on the floor that day, flat on my face"-it's just so amazing! and she really grooves to this song

Famous Blue Raincoat~I was sobbing like a baby, this song was just so intense tonight...she kept whispering into the mic and had absolutely beautiful diction...just gorgeous all around...

China~She did a cute little improv about being in the wrong key, saying something like "I don't know what key I'm in, I think I'm in C, i can't see a goddamn thing, what the fuck..." or something like that....it was amusing..

Sister Janet~very powerful and lengthy improv about the U.N., Berlin, soldiers next door...something along those lines. it was very emotional...

Sweet Sangria~another of my favorites! this rocked! she really danced to this, and she kept leaning back and putting her leg up on the stool?....just simply rockin!

God~so happy to hear this!!!! her voice was really powerful on this, and I was going crazy in my seat...

I Can't See New York~I've heard about the lighting for this one, and I have to agree that it is really neat...and tori's face before the song begins is so awesome to watch...she gets down into the light, and it casts this red/gold shadow on her face....just simply beautiful..

Iieee~ So very happy to hear this song, and I was glad that her sampler worked...but it was partly ruined because this asshole security guard was talking...But her voice sounded pitch perfect on this, and the lights were really cool when the band played along with her...

Taxi Ride~I loved watching Tori's eyes in this song...She was constantly looking upward (maybe to Kevin??) but she had this very sarcastic look on her face the whole time, and this cute little smirk...everyone was jamming to this song...

Past The Mission~what a great!!!!!!! song!!!!!! to end on!!!!! so happy to hear this!! and i thought it was neat to hear her play the wurlitzer during the "they found a body" part....

some other stuff i forgot...tori talked to the audience in the beginning about her daughter "finding all kinds of interesting stuff backstage here in toledo.." and how she "has a bump on her head..." it was cute.....and then another thing, she went to begin Juarez at the wrong time, and started laughing to Matt-it was really adorable....Overall Tori seemed well rested, and I think she may have been saving her energy for the rest of the shows, because she didn't really seem to "kick ass" tonight...but she definitely rocked...and i love her to death, and i'm so happy that there is a female artist out there that has so much talent and intellect to offer the world...

another thing...if you're going to dance during the show, make sure you aren't bugging people around you....there was this guy tonight who went BALISTIC on the dancing..it was just too much and distracted from tori.....

From Lauren Eschwie:

The extra verse Tori sang during Pancake tonight in Toledo was part of the Crosby Stills and Nash song "Ohio".

From ChiaotzuFreak:

The concert tonight at Toledo was subtle, fun, lovely, and relaxed. The "Ohio" interlude (replacing the "zion" bit) during Pancake fit perfectly. Her improv about accidentally playing in C rather than D (before China) was hysterical - she sang something along the lines of "Oops, I'm in the wrong key... should I still play the same song, I can't see a goddamned fucking thing up here, sometimes I play in the wrong key, like now I'm in C instead of D, I wonder should I switch my song, or should I go where I belong." And on "belong," she went from C to D... it was perfect. Before Sister Janet (which was INCREDIBLE!), she did an improv about "holding hands with the U.N. and Germany," and "soldiers marching." Bells for Her, which was played in the Plugged 98 style all on the Bose, was totally unexpected and gorgeous. Juarez was also especially delightful for me.

I'll also have to agree with Lori - if you want to groove to Tori, it would be nice if you didn't go nuts doing it. We must have been seeing the same guy, because I was distracted once in a while by a very "energetic" fan 2 rows ahead of me. I didn't let it bother me too much, but it can be somewhat distracting.

I was pleased with tonight's crowd in general, though. And Tori once again proved her magnificence.

From miss iceblink:

hey, after reading the reviews of the ohio show tonite, i looked up the lyrics to "ohio":

Ohio

Tin soldiers and Nixon's coming, we're finally on our own.
This summer I hear the drumming, four dead in Ohio.
Gotta get down to it, soldiers are cutting us down. Should have been done long ago.
What if you knew her and found her dead on the ground?
How can you run when you know?

Gotta get down to it, soldiers are cutting us down. Should have been done long ago.
What if you knew her and found her dead on the ground?
How can you run when you know?

Tin soldiers and Nixon's coming, we're finally on our own.
This summer I hear the drumming, four dead in Ohio,
four dead in Ohio, four dead in Ohio, four dead in Ohio, how many more?
Four dead in Ohio, four dead in Ohio, four dead in Ohio, home many more?

From Heather Halabu:

***tori seemed to be in a great mood tonight. she smiled a lot, danced a lot, and put on an amazing and very long show!!! her voice sounded amazing at this venue...the set list was unbelievable as you can see!!!

Sister Janet-i've been dying to hear this one! yay.

Band returns

Bells For Her-oh goodness, this was perfectly amazing
In The Springtime Of His Voodoo-very fun
Lust-again, sounded just like the album.
Sweet Sangria-love this one
God-tori was having fun, with one leg up on the bench
I Can't See New York-wonderful as well
Iieee-i was so excited to hear this!!!

1st Encore

Taxi Ride-:)
Mrs. Jesus-did a short improv before this one i think

2nd Encore

Juarez-cool to hear this one live
Past The Mission-improv beforehand

From Karac:

A few things I noticed that people haven't mentioned yet is that Tori messed up the lyrics of Past The Mission, she smiled at the band as they all chuckled. Also during "Roadside Cafe" the black curtain in the back would not close. After she sang Famous Blue Raincoat and the lights dimmed they tried to close the curtain again and it still wouldn't close. So for the remainder of the show you could see the girl w/leaves coming out of her head.
