Several Toriphiles are reporting that they have seen TV commercials for Tales Of A Librarian on various channels in the U.K. and U.S.

More Details

Here are some reports from people who have seen these commercials. It is good to see some effort being given to promote this new collection!

From Tess:

TORI HAS A COMMERCIAL!I saw it at 6:48 during Roseanne on Paramount. It's 30 secs long I believe, possibly 45. Begins with "Tori Amos Tales Of A Librarian" then moves to a montage of images, text, video clips and sound. It's GORGEOUS!

And ---- It says its available NOW! So all you UK'ers, like myself, can get it tomorrow/Monday! No waiting a like rumoured! Advert concluded with text saying its available NOW at Sainsbury's for $9.79!

It's Beautiful! Fantastic! I was giddy, danced around, shouted for everyone to come see :-)

About freaken time Atlantic promoted her in such a big way.

From Lee Chaix:
Just thought I would let you know of a Tori sighting, sort of. During Queer Eye for the Straight Guy last night on Bravo, there was a 30-second television commercial for Tales of a Librarian. It had clips from several of her videos (Silent All These Years, God, Cornflake Girl, and Strange Little Girl are the ones that stand out) and essentially summed up the album (20 songs, remixed, remastered, two new songs, two rerecorded rarities). At the end, it said the album was available at FYE (a music store chain).

I'd never seen a TV ad for a Tori album before - perhaps her marketing is going in a new direction?

From Samantha:
first, last night around midnight, I saw a commercial for Tales of A Librarian on Bravo!!  the Tori music surprised me out of my doze!

also, when I bought two copies yesterday at FYE, the sticker on the price tag read:  Tales of A Liberation.  I thought that was an appropriate misprint!!
