Howie Day was Tori's opening act during the first leg of her 2002 On Scarlet's Walk Tour and the 2003 European leg of that same tour. Howie has a new album called Stop All The World Now which was released on October 7, 2003. There's also a limited edition version of the new album available which includes a DVD and a slightly different cover. During the interview portion of that DVD, Howie is wearing the dreamcatcher necklace from the On Scarlet's Walk tour. The Bio section of howieday.com mentions the new album and also has a quote from Howie about Tori. Check out all the details of the new album at howieday.com. Thanks to the many people who emailed me about this. More DetailsHere is the part of the Bio at howieday.com where Howie talks about Tori: "Watching how hard Tori works and seeing how she carries herself as an artist was an education for me," says Day. "She gave me a lot of great advice but one thing kept coming back to me in the studio. She said it is crucial to stay true to your artistic vision when you record or you'll regret it the rest of your life. She reaffirmed that the biggest mistake I could make would be to ignore my instincts." |
