Tori is mentioned in The Starr Report column in the May 29, 2003 edition of the New York Post. They say she is attending a private screening of the documentary "Capturing the Friedmans". I am not sure if this is true, but I found it interesting.

Jury's in on 'Friedmans' producers
"Capturing the Friedmans" has captured the attention of stars like Minnie Driver, Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke - all of whom cornered producers Mark Smerling and Andrew Jarecki after they grabbed the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance.
The dark documentary, airing on HBO after its theatrical run, also caught the attention of British pop star Robbie Williams - who sauntered into the "Friedmans" Tribeca Film Festival party with 20 models in tow. Smerling is holding a private screening of "Capturing the Friedmans" at the Angelika tonight, with Tori Amos, Vanessa Carleton, Jon Mayer and Ilene Kristen expected to attend - with an after-party at Petrocino's hosted by Kathy and Bob Smerling (who's president of Reading Entertainment City Cinemas and ex- president of Loew's/ Sony theaters).
"Capturing the Friedmans" revolves around a Great Neck family rocked when the father and son, Arnold and Jessie Friedman, were charged with child molestation in 1987.
