Tori performed in Oslo, Norway on Thursday, June 16, 2005 at the Norwegian Wood Festival. Tori was one of several artists that performed that evening.

it was a perfect outdoor concert tonight, with close to 6000 people in the audience and a Tori who seemed very energetic and vibrant! I saw the two shows in London as well, and I think her voice was better today. Tonight's show was a bit shorter than usual, and she only brought two of her pianoes. She chatted a little bit, I'm sorry I can't remember exactly what she said, but all in all she seemed happy and so were we!

The sound was fantastic. The weather was nice, some raindrops now and then, but who cares about the weather when Tori is on stage?

The first song was Original Sinsuality, really beautiful, and when she started with the first few bars of Crusify, the crowd started to yell of enthusiasm. The photographers were very eager to get the best pictures during the song, standing in front of the crowd. After Crusify she said with a smile: "The photographers are leaving. Now is it just you and me".

With Sweet the Sting she started out with a small improve, going something like "Sweet, Sweet".

Before she was doing Take to the Sky, she said that she loved to be in Norway - land of the vikings. "You guys can keep rythm?!", she said and started to hit the piano like we know. I think she did Take to the Sky really good. She didn't get up on the high notes "you can say it one more time" - but she was really into it and it sounded great.

She slowed down with the beautiful Hey Jupiter. Doing the Dakota Version bridge "! go from day to day, I know where the cupboards are, I know where the car is parked, I know he isn't you".

Turning around to the piano again she did Cloud on My Tongue, astounding as ever.

After that she announced Tor's Pianobar. She told that she was walking in the street earlier and a girl stopped her and said "Tori" like the Norwegian often says her name (with a rolling 'r' and a narrower form of the 'o' - not easy to explain). She said she couldn't pronounce it in the Norwegian way and somebody yelled "Tori!" from the crowd, and she said "Yes, just like that. You say it so cute". She told that this girl asked if she remembered Michael Hutchence, and Tori talked a bit around that, and started to play Need You Tonight. Very energetic and cool.

Next was Barons of Suburbia. I loved it when she play the organ because then she was facing me. Standing at the front row that was absolutely great!

She said "Before I leave - You guys have been heavenly.I'll be touring 'till September, so don't be a stranger".

Amber waves was really, really beautiful. I liked it so much.

First encore was Leather, and the song beeing familiar to most of the crowd the 7.500 people at Frognerparken shouted with joy. The show ended with Moter Revolution.

Tori had a great setlist but seeing this was a festival, she did not play nearly as many songs as her past shows for this tour she was wearing a bluish-purple shirt with a lavander colored material around the middle of her stomach that flowed down and then a red thing that wrapped around her shoulders and waist. The groud didn't seem that much into her, most of them were for the other bands from the festival but that wasn't me! I loved seeing Tori and will not stop till I die!

A brilliant "near-Tori" experience!

A Tori in a sunny and flirty mood performed a virtual best-of setlist in Frognerbadet last night. I pretty damn near cried when the first chords of Crucify struck and as she smiling asked us Norwegians with "those long boats" to keep the beat to Take to the sky.. Wow...

Funny, funny to hear an INXS-cover and this proves to me her absolute brilliance; how she can make the song completely personal and new, yet quite possible to sing-a-long to for an eighties teenager who loved Michael Hutchence. I laughed and sang equally. She told us that some guy had come up to her in the street yesterday after calling "Tori" - and here she talked about how funny and lovely we norwegians pronounce her name. The person had asked her if she remembered Michael Hutchence and she'd said "Yeah, as a matter of fact I do... and I liked that boy". She claimed that she'd felt him near then and decided that he'd "like to play here tonight" - and finally she did the cover.

Tori also gave beautiful reunions with songs like Marianne and Hey Jupiter. My 13 year old daugter was a bit dissapointed she didn't do Winter, which is her personal favourite, but hey... I say: A short but sweet concert with magic, seductive Tori. I look forward to see her again!

The tour crew rolled in the very famous Bsey, and the audience at the Norwegian Wood festival in Frognerbadet, Oslo, held their breath. Then Tori entered stage and presented us with a unique 80 minutes musical experience.

The photographers drowned Tori with their flashes, and the audience replied with screams as they tried to hit the people from the press off the front row. 'Don't you dare blocking my view, I've been waiting a long time for this!', some yelled. But after just two songs they disappaered. - 'The photographers have gone away now. (...) So, it's just us now, right? So, the land of the Vikings, yeah! (...) This is for you... I know you kan keep rythm, with those long boats, right?' said Tori, and then she performed 'Take to the Sky'.

After a request from a fan she'd met earlier in down town Oslo, she did a cover of INXS' 'I Need You Tonight'. - 'Every night I do the Piano Bar. And it's requests... Somebody came up to me on the street down town, and said... How do you say my name? It's really cute... (...) I love the way you people talk! OK. So, this person said: do you remember Michael Hutchence? (Deceased INXS member). (...) I like that boy, he was a good guy. He made brilliant music. And I just felt his presence here today, and he wanted to come here and play. So here he is...'.

She performed different songs from different albums both on her Bsendorfer grand piano, and a Hammond organ (simultaneosley as she sang along). Norwegian press called it a 'three wrench solo' (?).

In the end she invited us to come and see another show in her Summer of Sin tour, - 'You've been absolutely heavenly. (...) I'm touring 'til september 18th, so don't be a stranger'.

The weather was beautiful and the sound immaculate. This was an experience never to be forgotten.
