Tori did a signing at Borders (830 N. Michigan Avenue) in Chicago, IL on Wednesday, March 16, 2005. Read some accounts from people who were there and see some photos! More DetailsPhotos from the signing
Accounts from people at the signingFrom Chrissie: Tori actually started signing at 6:45 instead of 7, and the entire signing went pretty smoothly. Everybody seemed to get about 2 minutes with her. The Borders security was really strict about what was to get signed. Nothing other than the new book and new cd were allowed up to the front which was sort of a shame. No cameras at the front, no phones, or anything else. Anyway, she looked fantastic and was in a great mood. From Andrea Norstad: I'd never met Tori outside of a meet & greet, so the whole *actual orderly line* thing was ... refreshing. They had the line divided into four sections depending on when you bought your ticket. I guess the first fifty people to get a ticket had one hole punched in it, the second fifty had two holes, etc. My brother and I were in the first fifty. We didn't have to wait long at all. Everything seemed very organized and orderly. I love the fact that there were actual tickets for this. I think they should have been advertised better from the start, but the end result was good. Or maybe just for me personally, because there's no way I could have gotten out of work early to wait in line all day. |
