Tori taped for the radio show "Live @ the Lounge" on Thursday, November 15, 2001. This show refers to the Star Lounge in Los Angeles, which hosts performances for LA radio station KSYR - Star 98.7 FM. Daniel Storm tells me, "Live @ The Lounge is on Star 98.7 here in Los Angeles. They also call it the Star Lounge. They bring an artist into the radio program and do a show in their studio. Usually it is acoustic and it is hosted by their DJ Ryan Seacrest ..." Tori has performed on this show before. Tori's taped the show on November 15, 2001. (Here is a report of the taping.) Livia Westover told me that the show was broadcast on KSYR - Star 98.7 FM in Los Angeles on Tuesday, November 27, 2001 from 8:30 - 10:00PM PT. Here is a report of the taping of this show from Toriphile Jennifer: hi! by the grace of my wonderful friend, i got to attend the taping of live at the lounge with tori and i just wanted to share a little bit of what it was like. she played silent all these years, rattlesnakes, cooling, upside down, and lust (these are not in the correct order). she was really tired, but still charming, clever, and articulate as always. ryan did a great job of interviewing her; they also took one question from a caller and three questions from the small audience of about 15 people. it was an extrodinarily intimate moment, and i'm still all smiles. i was hoping for a meet and greet after the show, but she looked like she was about to drop. one of the funniest things she said (that i remember anyway) was about how natashya loves dogs and tori thought she would grow up to be a dog trainer. tori said she was not a dog person and they made her think of fleas, and that she is definately "a leo cat person." i think the show will air on december 4 at 7:30 on star 98.7 in los angeles. overall it was a wonderful experience and i can't wait to see her on friday, saturday, and tuesday in san diego. thanks for all the work you do on the site! |
