There is a Tori quote in the Spring 2002 issue of Women Who Rock magazine in a section called She Said It on page 14 which features quotes by female musicians.

"Each song has a little soul, a little persona, its own little birth certificate, and favorite shoe shops. "

This issue also has on page 93 in the new release section a review of singer Charlotte Martin. Tori is mentioned in the review:

"Charlotte Martin has definitely embraced her inner Tori Amos...lyrics like the 'lipstick coalition' and 'beauty queens' hanging out in 'trailer parks' do smack of Tori..."
