BT Talks About Tori On Radio Show Transmissions
|
BT appeared on a radio show called Transmissions that aired on radio station WHFS in Washington D.C. at Midnight on Saturday, February 8. He mentioned Tori several times.
This report was emailed to me by Jennifer, who was the one who first told me about this program. Thank you!
I listened to BT on Transmissions last night and he did talk about working
with Tori. He was preceded by the song Armand's Star Trunk Funkin mix and
then had this to say "What Tori and I did, I think, is different, because it
mixes indie estetics with electronic musical aspects." He then talked about
him and Tori both being from Maryland. "Tori and I have a really unusual
connection in that way because we know what the dirt smells like." After
this they played the Paul Van Dyke mix of Blue Skies. BT also mentioned that
Little Earthquakes is one of his favorite work out albums.
This report is by Johnson Liu and was posted to the Torinews Mailing List.
BT (Brian Transeau) appeared on Transmissions, WHFS, Washington DC, at
midnight last night. As expected, he spoke about how Tori and his
backgrounds parallel (both from Rockville MD, famous in England, etc.). He
also mentioned how LE (of all Tori's works!) was on his five all-time
workout CDs. He played Armand's Star Trunk Funkin mix of PW and Paul van
Dyk's mix of Blue Skies (the one that has Tori mostly humming). Apparently,
Tori and Brian get along very well.
