A photo of Tori from her November 20, 2002 concert in Montreal appeared in the November 21, 2002 edition of the Journal de Montreal. You can see the photo and the caption below translated from French into English. Thanks to Caroline (Amarillys) for the scan and the translation.
Intimist Tori Amos Lost in a place called America, sings Tori Amos in Wednesday, one of the songs on her latest album, Scarlet's Walk. Yet, the red-haired singer didn't seem lost at all in front of her Montreal fans at the theater of the Bell Center, yesterday. With bassist Jon Evans and drummer Matt Chamberlain, Amos gave an intimist concert, sometimes static, centered around Scarlet's Walk, the diary of an imaginary journey through the US. But the older songs, like Cornflake Girl, are the ones that got the loudest reactions. For details, read the complete review by Patrick Gauthier in tomorrow's edition. I would love to have a translation of that review from the November 22, 2002 edition of Journal de Montreal if anyone can send it to the Dent! |
