Tori's Strange Little Girls album was reviewed in the October 2001 issue of Maxim magazine in the U.S.. Thanks to Raspberry Swirl Girl for telling me.

Tori Amos
Strange Little Girls
(Atlantic)
More than just a showcase for her favorite '80s Eurotrash (Depeche Mode, the
Stranglers), Tori Amos' covers collection -- all songs previously performed
by male artists -- is an indictment of men and their violent ways. Her
rendition of Eminem's "97 Bonnie & Clyde," which casts Amos as the
throat-slit wife in the trunk, is chilling, but her 10-minute take on
"Happiness is a Warm Gun" -- with news briefs about John Lennon's death --
is no fun. Wasn't the guy just singing about his johnson? -- Bill Crandall
The album was given 2 out of 5 stars.
