The Ripple is the

- Scarlet's Walk
Telling the story of
a journey across post September 11th America, we meet a motley crew
of interesting characters from Amber Waves, a porn star who started
with dreams of movie stardom but has now given it up for "every
DVD and magazine", the unsatisfactory travel companion of A
Sorta Fairytale and stark commentary ("Just Another Dead Fag To
You") on the murder of Matthew Shepard in Taxi Ride. However ,
it is the album's seven minute central lynchpin of "I Can't See
New York" that shows this album for what it is, a comprehensive
whole from an artist at the peak of her talent.
