An article appeared on the September 6, 2001 edition of the Daily Express newspaper in the U.K. about the Concorde. As many of you know, there was a terrible crash in Paris involving the Concorde and as a result, they suspended all flights of that plane. This article was prompted by the British Civil Aviation Authority reinstating the airworthiness certificate for the British Airways Concorde fleet following extensive modifications. There is a quote from Tori in this article where she talks about the Concorde! Many thanks to Jonny Beatty for sending this to me.

Here is the part of the article that mentions Tori:

"Celebrities seem particulary keen to see the plane flying, Phil Collins, who used Concorde to play at both the London and Philadelphia Live Aid concerts in 1985, has said he will use it again.

Tori Amos, the American singer who recently gave birth to a daughter, is also keen. "It's a question of time," she said. "Nine-and-a-half hours on a traditional BA flight is a tall order with a baby. I have flown on Concorde before and will fly on it again."
