Tori on Late Night With Conan O'Brien August 7, 1998

Tori appeared on Late Night With Conan O'Brien on Friday night, August 7, 1998. (Actually Saturday morning, August 8!) She performed "Jackie's Strength" with the band. Jon Evans was playing the stand-up bass (It is NOT a cello!) I thought she sounded better than when she performed it on Letterman over a week ago. Like on Letterman, she shortened the song by removing the second verse. This is a common practice on these late night talk shows because the singer is given such a short time to perform.

Well. The song was great! And did everyone else think she looked absolutely gorgeous! I mean, wow! That's the best I've seen her look in a long time. Not that she doesn't always look awesome :) Anyway, It is obvious that she isn't feeling too well still. You can hear the scratchiness in her voice, but she still sounded great, especially that last part when she sang "jackie yeah" really high, it sounded awesome. I wish he would have talked with her for a while though. I hate when they do that, they say they're coming right back, then it's just to say "thanks for coming" *groan* I wish some host would chat with her about something once. Anyway, Thanks for reading my thoughts :)

Tori looked great on Conan. Black(?) longsleeve top and black leather(?) skirt. She played Jackie's Strength. There was an echo on her voice on some lines like.."Make me laugh" It sounded excellent!! I dont believe that was done on Letterman. Tori didnt have on any glitter or jewel things on her face, she looked quite simple yet beautiful.
