The CBS Saturday Early Show on September 22, 2001 featured a clip of Tori performing Lennon's "Imagine" live. It was a beautiful performance, and Tori looked stunning. CBS did not show the entire performance of "Imagine" in some cities. Some Toriphiles claim that they only saw 10-15 seconds of the performance, while others like myself saw a good 2 minutes. I think some local TV stations pre-empted the show to broadcast their own news or commercials. So some Toriphiles were disappointed by the show.

I have reports that SOME TV stations finished Tori's performance at the end of the program. That was not the case on the station I was watching. So some people did get to see the entire performance, but in pieces.

I can say that what we did see was really incredible. CBS should make that entire performance available because it felt really healing during these troubled times. Amanda (Novinha) taped the show for me and made it possible for me to create the screen shots you see below.

UPDATE: I have found out from reliable sources that Tori actually DID record several songs for the CBS Saturday Early Show.

UPDATE: Tori was once again on the CBS Saturday Early Show on September 29, although we did not really know in advance that she would be on. Tori was shown singing all of "Time", half of "Rattlesnakes", and snippets of "Cooling" and "Crucify". At the end of the show during the credits they showed her singing the remaining part of "Cooling".
