Amos Expands U.S. Tour Plans

Tori Amos has scheduled a slate of 12 eastern U.S. winter tour dates that extend a previously announced stand at New York's Radio City Music Hall. The tour kicks off Feb. 19 in Boca Raton, Fla., and now includes three shows (March 6-8) at Radio City.

Tickets for the final Radio City show go on sale Saturday (Jan. 18) via Ticketmaster . Information on pre-sale opportunities for the balance of the U.S. shows is available from the artist's official Web site .

The U.S. tour will get underway two weeks after Amos closes a European tour that kicked off on Sunday night and tonight visits Wolverhampton, England. All of the road work comes in support of "Scarlet's Walk," her debut album for Epic after a lengthy career with Atlantic. Released in late October, "Scarlet" debuted at No. 7 on The Billboard 200 and has sold 370,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.

As with last year's opening leg of North American tour dates , joining Amos will be longtime collaborators Jon Evans on bass and Matt Chamberlain on drums/percussion. That round saw Amos visit cities from coast-to-coast, and included an evocative performance at the unconventional venue of New York's gothic Riverside Church .
